Larson Binkley, a leader in LEED certified and Experience Engineering, moved into their new headquarters facility in Kansas City, MO in October 2012. The company was drawn to Kansas City’s urban core by its vibrant creative scene and culture of innovation. They will relocate around 40 existing jobs and anticipate the creation of 26 new positions at an average new job starting wage of $66,667.

Larson Binkley, a mid-sized firm, has emerged as a national leader in Experience Engineering. This visionary process creates optimal consumer environments for restaurant and retail chains, including such clients as Kohl’s, Limited Brands, REI, Bass Pro, Capital Grille and Morton’s Steakhouse.
Larson Binkley was also an early adopter of sustainable engineering, with more than 250 LEED certified projects completed to date. Larson Binkley’s engineers are registered in all 50 states and seven Canadian provinces.
Building/Investment Statistics
Larson Binkley will occupy 11,580 square feet at 310 W. 20th Street. As envisioned, this project will result in an initial investment of $1.25 million in personal property investment.
Project Assistance
The State of Missouri assisted the project by providing nearly $1.55 million in assistance through Quality Jobs withholding retention and tax credits, and employee recruitment programs.
