EDC administers a variety of initiatives to help drive economic development. This month, we’re looking at one of the many acronyms that represent our programs: LCRA.
Since 1951, EDCKC’s Land Clearance Redevelopment Authority (LCRA) has helped with redevelopment efforts in designated areas across KCMO that have experienced blight, disinvestment or neglect. Without the LCRA, projects such as this month’s feature on the Marlborough Community Land Trust Project might not have been possible.
