EDCKC serves as the economic development agency for the City of Kansas City, Missouri. A private, nonprofit organization, the Downtown Council (DTC) advances initiatives that promote economic development and quality of life Downtown. The organization is co-founder with EDCKC of LaunchKC, a program that annually provides 10 $50,000 grants, mentorship and transitional workspace to tech entrepreneurs worldwide that locate in Kansas City, Missouri.
