LCRA Bid Request

The Land Clearance for Redevelopment Authority of Kansas City, Missouri (LCRA) is requesting bids for the stabilization and redevelopment of the historic Wheatley Provident Hospital building to house health care/tech/life sciences, research and development, and other related uses at the site generally bounded by 18th Street on the north, Forest Avenue on the east, the 1826 Forest Avenue southern lot boundary on the south, and the 1826 Forest Avenue western lot boundary on the west.  In order to be considered by the LCRA, responses to this Request for Proposals must: (1) be received in writing by LCRA, Attn: LCRA Executive Director, 300 Wyandotte Street, Suite 400, Kansas City, Missouri 64105, on or before 5:00 pm on June 22, 2021; (2) include a completed EDC Redevelopment Project Application and accompanying documents; and (3) include a site plan of the proposed development, description of all improvements, projected development costs and revenues, and qualifications and financial capability of the submitting developer.  Bid packet can be accessed here.

LCRA will consider only properly submitted proposals at the LCRA meeting hearing to be held at 9:30 a.m. on June 23, 2021 at 300 Wyandotte Street, Suite 400, Kansas City, Missouri, or such later date as LCRA may determine, subject to City Council approval of the proposed Wheatley Provident Hospital Urban Renewal Plan.  LCRA reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and publish any additional requests for proposals as may be necessary.  For additional information contact Dan Moye, LCRA Executive Director, at (816) 221-0636.

LCRA Request for Contract Proposals

Pursuant to 99.450(2), RSMo, the Land Clearance for Redevelopment Authority of Kansas City, Missouri (“LCRA”) hereby gives notice that LCRA is requesting redevelopment contract proposals from developers to undertake acquisition and rehabilitation of an existing 27,556 gross square foot historic building to support and enhance Western Baptist Bible College’s mission as an educational institution and its position as an anchor in the community by providing classrooms, business offices, seminar venues, event space, and related improvements located at 2119 Tracy Avenue, which is generally bounded by Tracy Avenue on the west, 21st Street on the north, Paseo Avenue on the east, and 22nd Street on the south.
