Two local entrepreneurs with complementary business skills, introduced to each other by Narbeli Galindo, the EDC’s International Business Development Initiatives Coordinator, have formed a partnership that seeks to change the way military, educational, medical, entertainment and business communications are conducted.
Benny Lee, Chairman of DuraComm Corporation and Kansas City Philanthropist of the Year in 2014, and Richard Welnowski, international filmmaker and communications consultant CEO of SightDeckKC, have formed a partnership. SightDeckKC known as the first successful company to benefit from LaunchKC, a series of initiatives by the City of Kansas City, Missouri, in partnership with local businesses, to develop tech and arts startups in downtown Kansas City.
