The EDC has been working with students from the Northland Caps program on a variety of projects, including this video that tells the story of Kansas City’s Iconic Union Station. One hundred percent of the video production was done by the students. Northland CAPS is a profession-based program where high school students are fully immersed in the business community, treated as professionals and participate in real projects, using industry standard tools with real business partners. We continue to work with them, and encourage our business community to also think about working with Kansas City’s youth to help foster professional skills.
