Business growth often comes from organic connections. This was the case with KC Pallets, a locally-owned buyer and seller of wood pallets located on KC’s east-side.
When KC Pallets reached out to EDCKC’s Business Development Team, they had been leasing their current facility and had the opportunity to purchase the building.
After being declined by several banks, EDCKC connected them with Central Bank, who saw the potential in the business and helped KC Pallets stay in place and build equity in their business.
This ground-up effort between EDCKC and KC Pallets is now evolving as KCP looks to scale up from 85 employees. From making local connections to providing tools for growth, this organic partnership has been a true success.
