EDCKC’s Business Development team strategically focuses on select industries to leverage KCMO’s many competitive advantages. One target industry that has seen much recent success is specialized manufacturing:
- Alpha – New manufacturing plant creating 75 new jobs with a capital investment of $18.5 million, the company will be the fourth site in MO and first dedicated to injection molding.
- Mars Petcare – An $82 million capital investment to enhance the Mars Petcare manufacturing facility, creating 95 new jobs.
- Niagara Bottling – New production facility creating nearly 100 jobs and $156 million in investment. The company now has two facilities in Kansas City, Missouri.
