Rosana Privitera Biondo (pictured above with her brothers) is a founding employee of Mark One Electric Co., Inc., a specialty electrical contracting firm in Kansas City. She also sits on the EDC’s Executive Committee and is Chair of the EDC Marketing Committee.
In 1994, after 20 years with the company as an employee and as Secretary/Treasurer, Rosana became the President and an owner of Mark One. She currently oversees the day-to-day operations of the company with all eight departments reporting directly to her. Rosana’s primary focus is to continue to build Mark One’s successes, to ensure that it will be here for the next generation. Under her leadership, and with the support of her tremendous staff, Mark One Electric has grown into one of Kansas City’s top ten Electrical Contractors. “Economic Development in Kansas City Missouri matters to me because it’s good for all, not just one,” says Privitera-Biondo.

Rosana is a native of Kansas City and says one thing she really loves about this region is the weather. As the only daughter of Carl J. and Josephine Privitera, her parents named their shopping center after her…. Rosana Square at 119th/Metcalf in Overland Park. “Something most people don’t know about me is that I was born in the front seat of a car!” says Privitera-Biondo. She also has three brothers, all part of the Mark One family. She and her husband Anthony have a 14-year-old son.
Rosana has been very busy over the past years serving on many boards. Her current focus has been the National WCOE (Women Construction Owners & Executives). Earlier this year, she testified on The Hill in DC for Women Construction Owners. She is very committed to Mark One and its employees.
